The Florida Forest Service and specifically the Tate’s Hell state forest is located in Franklin County where 80% of the land is public and a large part of the local culture. The staff currently provides outreach to the community through our public use areas which help to instill a conservation ethic and build advocacy with the next generation of Franklin County residents.
