Camp La No Che

The Central Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America, has established a long successful history of providing year-round outdoor education opportunities at the Leonard and Marjorie Wiliams Family Scout Reservation, primarily Camp La-No-Che located in Paisley, Florida. Camp La-No-Che encompasses 1600 acres and is located near the southern border of the Ocala National Forest and on the north shore of Lake Norris. Camp is home to many different kinds of wildlife including several gopher tortoises.

Camp is open year-round and offers many programs on the weekends as well as summer and winter camp programs. Some of the experiences include NRA training, BSA/Red Cross lifeguard certification, health and safety weekend, National Youth Leadership Training, Cub Halloween Weekends, Cub Holiday Weekend, Winter and Summer Camp.

Camp La-No-Che is used by our own membership, along with other organizations, JROTC, churches, governments, and businesses across central Florida, the United States, and other countries for meetings, conferences, classes, field trips, and outings. Camp offers two waterfront areas with docks, and aquatics program, a climbing wall, two swimming pools, laundry facilities, a trading post (camp store), shotgun, rifle, and archery ranges, outdoor chapel and dining hall. Also contained on property is Sulfur Springs, Pooh Bear Lake, 25 campsites, a sports field, amphitheater, basketball court, bouldering wall and the Florida Trail.
