We provide resource-based recreation while preserving, interpreting and restoring natural and cultural resources. The Park has 8 fishing platforms, 19 picnic pavilions and is home to Miami-Dade’s oldest historic structure, the Cape Florida Lighthouse.
There are many different options for volunteering at the Park as a group or an individual. One of our most attended is the monthly beach cleanups on the 2nd Saturday from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
