The YMCA is a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. We believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. That’s why, through the Y, more youth today are cultivating the values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health and educational achievement.

Our outdoor educational camps are based on STEAM/STEM curriculum. Some of our camps include a GeoScience Day Camp located at Tiger Tail Recreational Lake and a residential camp located at Camp Owaissa Bauer. Marine Biology Day Camps are located in YMCA’s Homestead family center, YMCA’s Upper Key’s family center, and Virginia Key Beach. Furthermore, a National Park Service-partnered day camp is also located in YMCA’s Homestead family center.
