UF/IFAS 4-H Camp Cloverleaf

UF/IFAS 4-H Camp Cloverleaf is nestled on the banks of Lake Francis in Highlands County. Its private facilities, open spaces, good fishing, and beautiful sunsets allow campers, students, and guests to play, learn and work in a safe and relaxing environment. Our mission statement is to develop life skills in youth through experiential education in the camp environment. 4-H Camp Cloverleaf provides day and overnight summer camp programs, rents facilities, and teaches environmental, outdoor and recreational education classes on and off-site. Overnight trips, day
classes, and outreach educational programs are all available to book throughout the school year, while day and overnight summer camp opportunities are available to all youth ages 6-17 in June and July each summer. 4-H Camp Cloverleaf’s programs, classes, and activities center around the local ecosystems, which include scrub habitats, oak hammocks, cypress swamps, and lakes. All programs align with state and national science and education standards, allowing youth to learn in an informal and experiential environment. Students can learn about various environmental and outdoor based topics, including herpetology, lake ecology, team building, and shooting sports.
