The College of the Florida Keys

The College of the Florida Keys provides several Summer Adventure Camps for ages 7-17 years. Campers will swim in the CFK Olympic size pool, snorkel in the underwater training area (also known as the CFK lagoon), try scuba diving, go fishing, learn to cook, build a computer, build an aquarium, take a trolley tour and other great outdoor activities. CFK also hosts a “Community Day” event annually. Vendors from all over the community join in the festivities and CFK proudly displays academic showcases. Another great outdoor element is CFK’s environmental and scuba clubs. From beach and wreck clean-ups, to “green” initiatives around campus, CFK students take pride in protecting the environment. An exciting CFK attribute is the Aquaculture facility (indoor and outdoor), as well as the Aquaponics garden. CFK students and campers can participate in great curriculum offerings such as growing plants and breeding fish.
