Girl Scouts of Citrus – Mah-Kah-Wee Program Center

Following the Girl Scout tradition, the Girl Scouts of Citrus build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. We are the leading organization for girls in Central Florida, and their growth is our goal! Our Mah-Kah-Wee Program Center is a 250-acre site in Chuluota, that was purchased in 1970. It’s name, Mah-Kah-Wee meaning “Earth Maiden,” was the result of a troop contest and was dedicated in 1971. At this beautiful outdoor oasis, Girl Scouts and families alike can engage in archery, swimming, paddle sports, camping, hiking and much more!
