Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens, Inc

Once an abandoned limestone quarry, Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens is an immersive botanical garden home to countless plant and animal species, gardens, waterfalls, bridges, and vistas. The gardens boast 20 acres of natural beauty, surrounded by 64 acres of pristine North Florida Flatwoods, graciously protected by Conservation Florida. Cedar Lakes strives to educate the public on the restoration and conservation of Florida’s habitats and native botanical species. Guests can enjoy a self-guided tour and discover unique moments throughout the gardens, and we invite visitors to challenge themselves in identifying native bird and plant species found at the Gardens. Looking ahead, Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens is aiming to expand its educational programming through guided learning activities, ethical angling, habitat restoration education, and more. The future development of a Conservation Education center will further support the Gardens’ growing education programs, and provide the public with an even greater appreciation for Florida’s natural habitats.
