Camp Live Oak is a day camp for campers aged 3-16. Located at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, the camp program provides a variety of outdoor activities that include saltwater fishing, canoeing, hiking, wildlife watching, and archery. Camp Live Oak’s mission is to provide a nurturing setting that will enhance each camper’s sense of self-worth by providing opportunities, through active play, to develop self-confidence as they embrace guided risks through interaction with nature. Our goal is that our campers leave us with resourcefulness; increased confidence; respect for
themselves and others; courage to face new physical and mental challenges; and a profound appreciation of nature.
