About EYCC

EYCC is a sleep away summer camp that is owned and operated by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network (FYCCN). Our mission is to foster awareness, appreciation, and concern for Florida’s wildlife and environment through outdoor recreation and conservation education. We offer a wide variety of programs for youth who have completed 3rd - 8th grade within the current academic school year (Fall 2024 - Spring 2025)

Registration Update 3/27/2025:

There are a few spots left for the 2025 summer camp season. You may email Dawn.Herron@MyFWC.com with the subject line ‘Summer Camp Availability’ for a full list of programs/weeks that have available spots. Be sure to include the current (2024-2025) grade level and gender of your camper in your email inquiries. EYCC is also extending the application deadline for our Leadership Camp Program (available for campers in 9th-11th grade). Please email Dawn.Herron@MyFWC.com for available weeks and information on the application process.

2025 Summer Camp Schedule

  • Session 1: June 1st – 6th
  • Session 2: June 8th – 13th
  • Session 3: June 15th – 20th
  • Session 4: June 22nd – 27th
  • Session 5: June 29th – July 4th
  • Session 6: July 6th – 11th
  • Session 7: July 13th – 18th
  • Session 8: July 20th – 25th

PAYMENT INFORMATION

No payment is due at the time of application. You will receive payment information after confirmation that you have received a spot at camp. Payment is due 14 days after notification that you have been selected for a spot. If payment is not received by the deadline, your child will be unregistered from the selected camp.

Cancellation policy:

  • Cancellation of a week of camp requires written notice. Please email any requests to EYCC@MyFWC.com with attention to the Camp Director.
  • Each camp registration includes a non-refundable $25 deposit.
  • Refund requests will be declined if the camper was sent home for disciplinary reasons or due to missing home.
  • If your camper misses a day due to illness, please contact the Camp Director regarding partial refund policies.
  • Cancellation/refund deadlines are as follows:
    More than 2 weeks prior to camp - 50% REFUND (excluding non-refundable $25 deposit)
    Less than 2 weeks prior to camp - NO REFUND
  • Approved refunds will be issued via check and cannot be refunded to a credit card. They may take up to one month to process.
