Summer Camp Information

Are you ready for an amazing summer at TYCC?

We can’t wait for summertime! The Tenoroc Youth Conservation Center offers summer camp programming to get youth outdoors and engaged with nature. Our week-long day camps serve campers in elementary school through early high school. Each week focuses on a specific age range and theme (see below for details). Camps include activities related to FYCCN ‘s 4 pillars: paddle sports, shooting sports, fishing, and wildlife discovery.

SUMMER CAMP SCHEDULE

June 9-13 - Precision Sports Camp | Grades 5-7 | Capacity: 20 | $195

June 16-20 - Hooks & Hulls Camp | Grades 3-5| Capacity: 20 | $175

June 23-27 - Outdoor Adventure Camp | Grades 3-5 | Capacity: 20 | $160

July 7-11 - Precision Sports Camp |Grades 6-9 | Capacity: 20 | $195

July 14-18 - Hooks & Hulls Camp | Grades 6-9 | Capacity: 20 | $175

July 21-25 - Outdoor Adventure Camp | Grades 6-9 | Capacity: 20-$160

Camper drop off & pick up times:

  • Drop-off is between 8:30-9:00 am daily
  • Pick-up is between 3:30-4:00pm Monday-Thursday; 2:30-3:00pm on Fridays
  • Aftercare is not available and all campers must be picked up by the end of pick-up time.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Applications are accepted beginning at 8:00am on February 3rd.

Enrollment eligibility is based on your child’s current grade on February 3rd. Please note, campers are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Application to TYCC summer camp does not guarantee a spot on a camp roster. Those who do not receive an initial spot in camp will be added to the waitlist in the event of any cancellations.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

No payment is due at the time of application. You will receive payment information after confirmation that you have received a spot at camp. Payment is due 14 days after notification that you have been selected for a spot. If payment is not received by the deadline, your child will be unregistered from the selected camp.

Cancellation policy:

  • Cancellation of a week of camp requires written notice. Please email any requests to TYCC@MyFWC.com with attention to the Camp Director.
  • Each camp registration includes a non-refundable $25 deposit.
  • Refund requests will be declined if the camper was sent home for disciplinary reasons or due to missing home.
  • If your camper misses a day due to illness, please contact the Camp Director regarding partial refund policies.
  • Cancellation/refund deadlines are as follows:
    More than 2 weeks prior to camp - 50% REFUND (excluding non-refundable $25 deposit)
    Less than 2 weeks prior to camp - NO REFUND
  • Approved refunds will be issued via check and cannot be refunded to a credit card. They may take up to one month to process.
