Knee-High Naturalists

The Knee-High Naturalist is an adventure program for children 2-7 years old. This program allows us to guide you and your little one through Project WILD’s award-winning Growing Up WILD curriculum that is designed to build on children’s sense of wonder about the natural world. This monthly program will help your child develop a positive first impression of nature and create lifelong social and academic skills.

Pre-registration is required. Limit of 10 children with one accompanying adult each, for a total of 20 participants, BOTH children and adults should wear comfortable play clothes and shoes that could get dirty or wet.

Public Programs

Our Public Programs include opportunities to discover wildlife through guided hikes or birding events, learn about freshwater ecosystems and fishing fundamentals, and test your aim in archery at our range.

With hands-on instruction from our staff, these programs are an opportunity for you and your family to visit Tenoroc PUA and learn more about Florida’s amazing natural resources and outdoor recreation!

Closed-toe shoes are required for all of our programs.

Check back for upcoming events!
