Outdoor Weekend Learning Seminars | O.W.L.S.

The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission’s new O.W.L.S. program is designed to provide youth, women, and families with hands-on opportunities to build skills and knowledge to safely and responsibly enjoy fishing, paddling, camping, shooting sports, and many other outdoor activities.

O.W.L.S is proud to be an equal opportunity program that celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment. The application process allows us to prioritize educational opportunities for individuals with a willingness to learn but little to no experience in the particular seminar discipline.

First Shots Seminars: Learn about safe, responsible firearms handling; rules and regulations; and recreational shooting sports opportunities. Plus, receive hands-on training from range safety experts. We’re hosting First Shots seminars on the following dates from 9 a.m. to noon.

• May 20
• June 17
