Liberty County 4-H

The purpose of Liberty County 4-H is to develop leadership, character, and good citizenship in America's youth. By emphasizing the development of the Head, Heart, Hands, and Health, 4-H leads youth to produce their best. Adult and youth volunteers lead local school and community 4-H clubs, advising and encouraging club members as they plan and carry out projects. 4-H is open to all youth ages 5 to 18 regardless of race, religion, sex, national origin or handicap and involves urban as well as rural youth.

Outdoor Education Program

Deane Bozeman School

Deane Bozeman School serves approximately 1,300 students in grades pre-k through 12. The Outdoor Education Program is a Senior level course choses as an elective. The purpose of Outdoor Education at Deane Bozeman School is to introduce the students to various activities and opportunities related to Hunter Safety, Survival, Boater Safety, Archery, Sustainability, and Environmental Resources.

Next Generation Athletics

Our mission is to introduce Archery, the world's oldest sport, to children 6-16 years old. Through this introduction we hope to instill a love for the sport. We also hope to teach children the positive aspects associated with sports through fun and games. No matter where a child goes in life, we feel that a positive introduction into sports will benefit them later in life.

Leon County 4-H

The Leon County Extension 4-H Youth Development Program uses a learn-by-doing approach to help youth gain the knowledge and skills they need to be responsible, productive citizens. This mission is accomplished by creating safe and inclusive learning environments, involving caring adults, and utilizing the expertise and resources of the University of Florida and the nationwide land grant university system. Through 4-H Clubs, summer camps, workshops, special interest classes and leadership opportunities, youth have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.

Oxbow Eco-Center

The Oxbow Eco-Center is an environmental learning center located on a 225-acre preserve on the North Fork of the St. Lucie River and is where young and old alike can discover the mysterious and hidden life of the forest and river. The preserve at the "Oxbow" is a living laboratory, offering year-round educational programs on a variety of nature-related subjects. At the Oxbow, you can join a naturalist on a guided walk through quiet gardens planted and nurtured by Mother Nature herself, or journey on your own through the verdant and wild sanctuary.

Gugliotti Environmental and Conservation Education Services

Gugliotti Environmental and Conservation Services – Nature Teach is a Florida-focused organization that specializes in connecting children and families to Florida’s great outdoors through education and hands-on experiences.

Services include: On or off site Field Trips, Hands-on Programs for all Ages, Youth Camp Experiences, Family Outdoor Recreation Clinics, Environmental and Conservation Curriculum, Teacher and Youth Group Leader Training, Environmental and Conservation Events, and Fundraising Activities, Events, and Resources.

Recreation and play are important for healthy lifestyle, and we utilize natural resources to help build stronger families. While recreational activities are fun it is important to note that they provide life lessons that build success and happiness among youth and adults.

Palm Beach County Extension 4-H

Our mission is to help youth develop life and workforce skills through experiential learning. We currently serve 6000-7000 youth per year through Science, Citizenship, and Healthy Living programs throughout schools and community sites. Programs include school enrichment, afterschool, clubs, competition and camps. Outdoor offerings include a wide variety of 4-H Project Areas and Curriculum such as PLT, Project Wild/Flying Wild and Project Wet.
