Horseshoe Lake Park provides outdoor and resource-based recreation programs that enhance the quality of life for residents. Recreation and play are important for healthy lifestyle, and we utilize natural resources to help build stronger families. While recreational activities are fun it is important to note that they provide life lessons that build success and happiness among youth and adults.

Warren Willis Camp



The Warren W. Willis Camp is the centerpiece of the Florida Conference of United Methodist Church’s camping ministry. Located in Fruitland Park it has a wide variety of outdoor activities for youth. The camp offers Summer Day Camps, Summer Residential Camps and Retreats. Willis Camp features four lodges, eight cabins and five wilderness cabins. Additonal amenities include a challenge course, nature tours, hiking, canoeing, volleyball, basketball,4-square and fishing.

DaySpring Episcopal Conference Center

DaySpring offers guests an unparalleled opportunity to experience peace, tranquility and stunning natural beauty. The Center provides a setting conducive to education and renewal allowing guest to grow intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.

Sonfishers

Sonfishers is an outreach ministry of Calvary Chapel, Merritt Island, Florida. It was founded in 2012. According to research: “Reconnecting Children To Nature “NatureDeficit Disorder”, the lack of quality outdoor play is a serious problem in the United States”. Sonfishers provides Faith-based youth and adult recreational and competitive sport — Fishing Clubs and Archery Classes. These activities reconnect the next generation with nature and traditional outdoor activities.

Camp Frontier

Not just a summer camp: Camp Frontier is a Summer Adventure We provide an outstanding traditional American summer camp experience to boys and girls age six through High School. We strive to meet each camper's individual needs in a safe, supportive environment with a child-centered program. Campers select their own schedule from over 30 activities as well as team events, cabin programs, beach and theme park trips. The Real Thing!

Girl Scouts of West Central Florida

Girl Scouts opens the doors to truly enriching experiences: great adventures, helping the community and hundreds of activities in which she can develop values and skills to help her discover her own potential.
