Collier-Seminole State Park

Collier-Seminole State Park features recreational camping with 105 campsites, water and electrical hook-ups, laundry facilities and three bathhouses with hot showers. A primitive backpacking site is also available via the northern trail and a remote primitive camping site on the river at "Grocery Place" is available with reservations by calling the park office at 239-394-3397. Four walking/hiking/biking trails are available but expect limited access during certain times of the year. Please call the ranger station for trail conditions.

Outdoor Youth Adventures

Everything we do at Outdoor Youth Adventures is to enhance the lives of local youth by providing them opportunities to get outside, experience the Florida outdoors, and become stewards of the local environment. We are able to do so through educational programs, exploration, adventure and experiential learning.

Everglades Holiday Park

This 39-acre park, long nicknamed the "Gateway to the Everglades," is located at the western end of Griffin Road, off U.S. 27 in Water Conservation Area 3. The park offers airboat rides, boat ramps, fishing, wildlife viewing, food concessions, boat rentals, alligator shows, animal encounters, and guided Naturalist Tours. Patrons may also view the beautiful scenery of the Everglades, River of Grass, by hiking around the lake and on the levee adjacent to the park.

Colt Creek State Park

Colt Creek State Park offers great opportunities for those interested in learning about fishing, kayaking, or canoeing. Located in Lakeland, Colt Creek has three natural streams and three lakes that are ideal for fishing. Common fish that fishermen can expect to see include largemouth bass, catfish, and bluegill. The park’s 3 lakes, Mac Lake, Middle Lake, and Little Lake are approximately 26, seven, and three acres, respectively. At Mac Lake, visitors can also enjoy fishing from the accessible dock.

Pioneer Park

This 13.7-acre park along the water includes lighted baseball fields, picnic areas, and an upgraded playground facility which includes a splash pad water feature, a tennis facility and a boat ramp leading into the Hillsboro Canal that has ocean access.

Nathan Benderson Park

Located in Sarasota, FL, Nathan Benderson Park (NBP) is a unique 600-acre community park that includes North America's premier 2,000-meter sprint rowing course and a regatta center. One of a handful of sites in the United Stated identified as having all of the natural attributes that make up a world-class rowing and recreational facility, Nathan Benderson Park began hosting organized regatta competitions in 2009.

Tradewinds Park and Stables

At roughly 625 acres, Tradewinds Park & Stables is one of Broward County's largest and most diverse parks. Tradewinds Park was acquired in 1974 from Margueritte C. McLean, whose family used the property for breeding and raising thoroughbred horses. The north side of the park is a rural farm setting with livestock and horses and includes educational farm tours, trail rides, pony rides, horse and junior farmers camps, a farmhouse museum, and model steam train rides. Tradewinds Educational Farm was developed to reflect the history of agricultural activities in Broward County.
