Are you ready for an amazing summer at SYCC?

We can’t wait for summertime! The Suncoast Youth Conservation Center offers summer camp programming to get youth outdoors and engaged with nature. All camps include activities related to FYCCN‘s 4 pillars: paddle sports, shooting sports (archery), fishing, and wildlife discovery.

SYCC is accredited through the American Camp Association, a national organization which conducts regular audits of certified camps to ensure best practices in safety, staff training, and facility maintenance. Summer Camp Programs

Anglers will explore the excitement of saltwater fishing through this immersive camp that combines hands-on fishing instruction with outdoor adventure. Campers will learn to rig rods, tie fishing knots, select bait, throw cast nets, build a tackle box, and understand fishing regulations and conservation ethics. Campers spend plenty of time on the water practicing their skills while also enjoying kayaking, archery, games, and creative crafts. Middle School campers even get to experience an inshore fishing charter, where they will make memories to last a lifetime. Each camper will take home their own rod, reel, and tackle box, giving them the confidence, knowledge, and gear to keep fishing long after camp is over.
