Joe Budd Youth Conservation Center (JBYCC) is located at 639 Pond Road, Midway, Florida 32343, just west of Tallahassee, Florida. Google Maps doesn’t give accurate directions to this facility so it is important to use the following directions:

If coming from Tallahassee, take U.S. 90 (Tennessee Street) west about 10 miles to Midway; OR take Interstate 10 west to Exit 192. Go west on U.S. 90 approximately 2 miles to Midway.

In Midway, turn left on Highway 268, cross the railroad tracks and follow the road to the right for 2 miles until you see the Joe Budd sign.

Turn left on Peters Road, and follow it until you reach the end of the asphalt road and onto the clay road to the management area entrance. Look for and follow the big blue Joe Budd Conservation Center Signs.

Take the right fork, and follow the education center signs to the log cabin. (Note: the final leg of your trip is on a clay road, which can be slippery following heavy rains.)

The pond is behind the cabin and has a small boat ramp, fishing pier and several earthen fishing fingers.
