Summer Camp at EYCC
EYCC is a sleep-away summer camp with programs for youth aged 9 to 17 years old. Our mission is to foster awareness, appreciation, and concern for Florida’s wildlife and environment through outdoor recreation and conservation education. We offer a wide variety of programs ranging from $395 to $530 per week.

- Wildlife Adventurers: $395 (9 – 10 years old) This program is jam packed with hands on activities and field experiences for those who enjoy learning about Florida’s wildlife and habitats.
- Marsh Seekers: $395 (9 – 10 years old) Campers will explore the wonders of Florida’s wetlands through marsh hikes and other hands-on activities. This program also includes basic fishing skills.
- Anglers: $395 (11 – 12 years old) This beginner level freshwater fishing program will help your camper become a responsible angler and explore other ways to enjoy fishing like boating and bowfishing. Note: as of Summer Camp 2026 the Anglers program will no longer include the offsite fishing trip.
- Explorers: $395 (11 – 12 years old) Campers will learn basic camping skills and sustainable practices culminating in a one-night camping trip on EYCC’s Explorer’s Island.
- Pathfinders: $395 (12 – 13 years old) This is a Hunter Safety program and a great opportunity for children to learn crucial lessons about firearm safety regardless of their interest in hunting. Campers participating in this program will have the opportunity to take the FWC Hunter Safety Exam and earn their Hunter Safety Certification.
- Outdoor Archers: $395 (12 – 13 years old) This program includes 3D archery, field archery, and more to kindle an interest in recreation, e.g., bowhunting. Campers of all experience levels are encouraged to participate in this program.
- Marine Masters: $530 (13 -14 years old) With offsite activities including snorkeling, kayaking, and fishing, this program is great for campers who love exploring marine habitats. Offsite adventures include: Peanut Island, Phil Foster Park, Manatee Lagoon, Loggerhead Marine Life Center, and Deep-Sea Drift Fishing.
- Leadership Camp: $395 (15 -17 years old). Campers will receive hands on experience and mentorship designed to prepare them for future employment in summer camp and recreation settings. Participants will be eligible for up to 40 service-learning credits. Note: as of Summer Camp 2026 applications are no longer required for this program.
