Frequently Asked Questions

Registration for the 2026 summer camp season opens Monday February 2nd, 2026. You can register for summer camp through our online registration portal. Please note, we process registrations in the order they are received including day and time. Your prompt response will ensure a smooth registration process for all.

For most of our camp programs, the baseline fee is $400 per week, per child. Our Marine Masters program is $530 per week to cover offsite program costs.
Filters on our online registration system can show which programs are open and which are waitlisted. When you register your child for a program their default status will say “Pending” until EYCC administration reviews your registration and confirms the spot is available. If the spot is available, we will update your status to “Approved” and you will be directed to submit payment and complete the registration process. If the spot is not available, we will contact you to discuss our current availability. Please note, we process registrations in the order they are received including day and time. Your prompt response will ensure a smooth registration process for all.

We are unable to accommodate specific week/program/cabin requests as they are first come, first serve. To increase the chance of campers being placed together, we encourage you to coordinate your registration with your family/friends, register asap, and pick programs that are most often grouped in the same cabins. Programs with the same age ranges are typically placed in the same cabin.

The 2026 summer season will transition from grade-based program placement to age. EYCC offers programming for children aged 9 to 17 years old.

Parents may register their camper for one program per week. Parents may not register their camper for more than two weeks of camp and the weeks cannot be consecutive.

Our staff are subject to a thorough background screening. We require staff to pass a level 2 background screening through the Department of Children and Family Services.

EYCC sits on a 60,000-acre wildlife management area, so there is always a possibility of alligators residing in the swimming lake or other bodies of water at camp. However, any alligators that are observed and considered to be a nuisance or are over four feet in length are removed from the swimming lake and relocated as soon as possible.
