Jonathan Dickinson State Park

The mission of the Florida Park Service is to provide resource-based recreation while preserving, interpreting, and restoring our natural and cultural resources.

We offer a variety of outdoor environmental education programs to youth and adults of all ages. These programs focus on protecting native wildlife and plants and their habitat. Examples include programs for schools, scouts, private and public organizations and the general public. We also offer special events, the biggest event of the year is Fire Fest, educating the public about the importance of prescribed fire in Florida.
