Camp Weed has served as the Diocese of Florida’s resident camp for more than 92 years. In that time, we’ve moved from St. Augustine Beach to Panama City, finally settling in 1978 in Live Oak, Florida. During that time, we’ve served thousands of campers, and we love seeing generations of families - grandparents, parents, and children - come through our gates. Camp Weed offers a unique summer experience that allows campers to experience God’s great outdoors, and through them, experience God. Our Episcopal foundation seeps through our programming, through our devotions and dean’s program, but we remain open-minded, accepting, and excited to serve a variety of youth. Camp Weed's mission has remained the same for many years, to build a safe environment that strengthens relationships between campers, staff, and God; that encourages participants to learn important life skills, to try new things, and to deepen their faith; and allows all people to be themselves.
