Boating Safety Class at the Suncoast

The Coast Guard Auxiliary team is hosting a boating safety course at the Suncoast Youth Conservatioin Center in Apollo Beach Saturday, January 14, 2017, from 8 am to 5 pm. This beginner boating class will cover the knowledge needed to obtain a Boating Safety Education Identification Card in Florida. To operate a motorboat of 10 horsepower or greater, Florida law requires anyone who was born on or after Jan.
Did you know that every person born after January 1, 1988 must have a boater safety ID card to operate a motorized boat of 10 hp or more in Florida? If you need this card, the Suncoast Youth Conservation Center is hosting a US Coast Guard Auxiliary Safe boating Class on: Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Archery Workshop

The Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network is partnering with Camp Gilead to host an archery workshop. The workshop will include the USA Archery Level 1 Certification course and the Explore Bowhunting program. The Explore Bowhunting program will be held on the afternoon of May 16th. Saturday May 17th will be the USA Archery Level 1 Certification course. Participants may attend one or both parts of the workshop. Campers leave Fish Camp with an appreciation for the sport of fishing, as well as the knowledge required for ethical angling. Circle B Bar Reserve - Explore Bowhunting Workshop

The Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network is partnering with Circle B Bar Reserve to host an Explore Bowhunting workshop. Explore Bowhunting is an educational program designed to help instructors, program leaders and educators teach students ages 11-17 the basic skills of bowhunting.
