Kid's Fishing Clinic - Monroe

Kids' Fishing Clinics are one-day educational events established by the Outreach and Education section of the Division of Marine Fisheries Management, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. One of the main goals for the Kids' Fishing Clinics is to create responsible marine resource stewards by teaching children the vulnerability of Florida's marine ecosystems. In addition, we hope to teach fundamental saltwater fishing skills and to provide kids with a positive fishing experience.

Riverside Retreat - Mission: Key West

One of the most humbling things we can do as Christians is to spend our time assisting those who need our help. When most people think of mission work, international destinations with lots of required documentation and planning are what comes to mind. We hope that Mission:Key West can act as a platform for youth who are interested in missionary work to learn more about the process of being the hands and feet of Christ. This trip is affordable, and does not require the immense time commitment that international trips are known for.

The Keys Challenge January 18-21, 2013

Before the great city of Miami existed, Henry Flagler envisioned a railroad across the sea that would promote a cultural and economic connection with Cuba, the Panama Canal and South America. Construction began in 1904. On January 22, 1912, Henry Flagler rode the railroad to Key West, where the project was heralded by the press as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." It was Flagler’s vision that makes the Florida Keys an economically viable destination. Today the Keys are a paddler’s paradise, with shallow water in five shades of blue and green.
