Join Green Wing Ducks Unlimited on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Ayavalla Airfield off Gardner Road in Tallahassee. $20 entry fee includes shooting, archery, wildlife demonstrations, hunter safety, ATV rides and safety, wood duck nesting box construction, law enforcement demos and exhibits, hunting dog demonstrations, hayrides, raffles, prizes, and a grilled lunch. It also includes an annual Greenwing membership and a gift. One lucky Greenwing will win the Grand Prize, a Lifetime Hunting and Fishing License.

Join the FWC Law Enforcement Recruit Class 30 for a FREE catch-and-release fishing event for youth ages 15 and under! Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 9Am to 1PM at Joe Budd Youth Conservation Center, 639 Pond Road, Midway, FL 32343. Participants must be accompanied by an adult. Youth in the Wild - Photo Contest

"Youth in the Wild" As part of Bear Creek Educational Forest's 10-year anniversary, a "youth in the Wild" Photo Contest will be offered for all qualifying visitors to the forest over the next several months. Youth photo submissions taken at the Bear Creed Educational Forest between now and September 20, 2015 will be judged for special awards and presentations at the Decennial Week of Events October 19-24, 2015. VOLUNTEER DAY AT JOE BUDD

Come out and be part of Joe Budd Volunteer Day!!! We will be preparing the youth center for our spring field trip season. In the morning, volunteers will help with tasks to prepare for the thousands of children we have visit our center during the spring months. These tasks may include trail maintenance, raking pine straw, trash pick-up on and around pond, staining of pavilion, and putting out decoys. The afternoon will include fun events to thank the hard work of our volunteers. We will provide some of the necessary equipment and water.
