YMCA Camp Immokalee

Since 1909, Camp Immokalee has been providing safe, fun, and high quality summer resident camp programs for youth in Florida and around the world. Immokalee campers learn to care for themselves, others, and the world around them while building life and activity skills through camp activities. Grit, gratitude and character are 21st-century skills every young person will need to succeed, and our camp activities are carefully designed to get kids out of their comfort zone and develop leadership skills while building community and having fun.

Osceola National Forest

The US Forest Service provides the general public with information on land management practices. Osceola National Forest offers many opportunities for a wide range of visitor experiences, such as camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, hunting, riding horse trails, wildlife viewing and many more. Currently the Osceola National Forest offers several youth opportunities, including the Junior Rangers Program, Youth Conservation Core, and others as they become available.

The Calhoun County 4-H Extension Service provides research-based educational programs in the program areas of agriculture, horticulture, family consumer sciences and 4-H youth development. 4-H empowers youth to reach their full potential working and learning in partnership with caring adults. Through 4-H, youth are leading a Revolution of Responsibility - a movement for positive change in every community in Calhoun County, Florida.

Polk County 4-H is the youth development program of the University of Florida and Polk County Extension Service. It utilizes the “learn by doing” approach to help youth develop important life skills and gain knowledge about a variety of topics such as agriculture, healthy lifestyles, science, and citizenship.

Everglades Youth Conservation Camp

The Everglades Youth Conservation Camp (EYCC) was established in the late 1960s by individuals and organizations that deeply cared about conservation, protecting wilderness areas, and preserving a way of life. The camp facility is now owned and operated by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) under the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network (FYCCN) and accredited through the American Camping Association.
