Nathan Benderson Park

Located in Sarasota, FL, Nathan Benderson Park (NBP) is a unique 600-acre community park that includes North America's premier 2,000-meter sprint rowing course and a regatta center. One of a handful of sites in the United Stated identified as having all of the natural attributes that make up a world-class rowing and recreational facility, Nathan Benderson Park began hosting organized regatta competitions in 2009.

Tradewinds Park and Stables

At roughly 625 acres, Tradewinds Park & Stables is one of Broward County's largest and most diverse parks. Tradewinds Park was acquired in 1974 from Margueritte C. McLean, whose family used the property for breeding and raising thoroughbred horses. The north side of the park is a rural farm setting with livestock and horses and includes educational farm tours, trail rides, pony rides, horse and junior farmers camps, a farmhouse museum, and model steam train rides. Tradewinds Educational Farm was developed to reflect the history of agricultural activities in Broward County.

Big Cypress National Preserve

Big Cypress National Preserve is 729,000 acres of swampland in south Florida. A unit of the National Park Service located in Eastern Collier County, it is part of the Everglades ecosystem and a critical watershed for the Ten Thousand Islands area to the southwest. It is a diverse wild area of cypress swamps, prairies, pinelands, hardwood hammocks, and is home to a variety of wildlife including the endangered Florida Panther. Incredible wildlife viewing opportunities, canoeing, hiking and biking are just some of the activities available during the winter months in the swamp.

Oscar Scherer State Park

Oscar Scherer State Park is a 1400 acre park featuring Florida's rare, scrubby flatwoods and the endangered Florida Scrub Jay. We offer year-round youth programming for both individuals and groups. Pine Tree Camp

Pine Tree Camps is both a day and overnight camp for campers age 3-14 years of age. The camp program includes a variety of inside and outdoor activities. Our outdoor activities include field sports, swimming, boating, fishing and archery. We encourage our campers to find a life-long enjoyment of many of the activities through practicing and in some cases competing. We want campers to leave us with more knowledge, more confidence and passion in their abilities.
