Harry Smith Outdoors is a full-service kayak guide shop specializing in eco-tours and fishing. Located in the heart of Tallahassee, we take great pride in educating youth and adults the conservation and preservation of our precious water resources-all with an emphasis on safety. Fishing is a large component of what we do and teaching the importance of ethical angling goes hand in hand with conservation of waterways and habitat. Jacksonville Country Day School

Jacksonville Country Day School prepares students for a healthy and productive lifetime of intellectual exploration, character development, and social responsibility. JCDS has served the Jacksonville community for over 45 years through the summer camp program. Each summer hundreds of campers participate in both day camp and a variety of specialty camps. Campers also enjoy swim time, gym time, field trips, archery, and arts & crafts.

Big Cypress National Preserve

Big Cypress National Preserve is 729,000 acres of swampland in south Florida. A unit of the National Park Service located in Eastern Collier County, it is part of the Everglades ecosystem and a critical watershed for the Ten Thousand Islands area to the southwest. It is a diverse wild area of cypress swamps, prairies, pinelands, hardwood hammocks, and is home to a variety of wildlife including the endangered Florida Panther. Incredible wildlife viewing opportunities, canoeing, hiking and biking are just some of the activities available during the winter months in the swamp.

Oscar Scherer State Park

Oscar Scherer State Park is a 1400 acre park featuring Florida's rare, scrubby flatwoods and the endangered Florida Scrub Jay. We offer year-round youth programming for both individuals and groups. TSS Youth Sailing Inc.

TSS Youth Sailing, Inc., is a federal 501(c)(3) charity and a Florida non-profit, teaching kids and teens to sail, an activity that fosters responsibility, teamwork, and awareness. In addition to teaching sailing YS has broadened curricula to include science of sailing and the sailing environment.

Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park

We provide resource-based recreation while preserving, interpreting and restoring natural and cultural resources. The Park has 8 fishing platforms, 19 picnic pavilions and is home to Miami-Dade's oldest historic structure, the Cape Florida Lighthouse.

There are many different options for volunteering at the Park as a group or an individual. One of our most attended is the monthly beach cleanups on the 2nd Saturday from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Since partnering with FYCCN the school now offers an afterschool archery program as well as incorporating archery, fishing and kayaking in the Outdoor Education class.

The mission of the Marine Science Center is to create innovative and inspiring marine education experiences which empower the lives of our students and guests. We also use advanced training and professional partnerships to provide outstanding rehabilitation of sea turtles, seabirds, and contribute to the emerging field of conservation medicine.
