South Econ Recreation Complex fulfills this mission by offering a multitude of youth and adult sports as well as family recreational fun. The mission of the YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. At Camp Winona, we fulfill this mission by engaging youth and families in programs such as swimming, paddle sports, and sailing on our beautiful Lake Winona. Other popular programs include archery, riflery, fishing, paintball, team sports, and high and low ropes course challenges including a zipline! We offer 6 one-week sessions of residential summer camp as well as 2 family camp experiences and additional youth weekend camps.

Our goal is to provide a safe environment for personal growth in academics, arts and fitness.
In conjunction with St Johns County Parks and Recreation, the Environmental and Habitat Conservation Division is committed to educate the future leaders, decision makers, and members of society about the importance of environmental issues we face today as they relate to tomorrow. St Johns County Environmental Division specifically educates the youth about local coastal environments and conducts various educational programs including Shorebird steward days, kayak trips, after school programs, school presentations, and summer camps.
The Flagler Sportfishing Club is one of the largest fishing clubs in North Central Florida with over 500 family members and growing. The Club was founded in 1990 and is a non-profit organization. Our "Guiding Principal" is to teach fishing to beginners and to give back to the community in many forms including Kids Fishing Clinics and multiple club and public family events throughout the year. In 2019, the Club taught over 500 kids, many of whom caught their first fish ever at our clinics.
White Oak Conservation Summer Camp offers an array of programs that are sure to excite every child! White Oak summer camp provides experiential learning opportunities that immerse campers in all that White Oak has to offer. Your camper will not only gain intimate knowledge of threatened species from our expert staff of zoologists, veterinarians, and researchers, but will have the opportunity to interact with them in a way that brings meaning to conservation.
Our mission at Fort King National Historic Landmark is to develop an educational park that provides both historical and nature-based programming. The park will provide Florida history education about the Second Seminole War as well as camping and outdoor recreation-skills classes and programs. We have recently broadened our focus on programming for teens, especially outdoor programs for minority and lower income youth in the Ocala community.
The Life Academy campus is a 7 acre facility with tennis courts, a bike track, large playgrounds, 25 yard swimming pool, canoeing pond, ninja course and indoor play areas. The property is family owned and operated and the Life Academy programs are based on 30 years of working with youth in Apollo Beach here at the Apollo Beach Racquet and Fitness Club.

The Lakeland Police Athletic / Activities League, Inc. was formed to prevent juvenile crime and violence utilizing recreation-oriented juvenile crime prevention programs that relies heavily upon athletics, recreational activities, and education to help kids go right and stay right. Through our crime prevention programs, our mission and commitment is to "fill playgrounds, not prisons."
