Outdoor Adventure Club For Home-schoolers (Ages 9-15) Program participants meet at Brick City Adventure Park at 9 a.m. Participants must pre-register. Park sites and activities vary and may include kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, etc. Parents are welcome to participate. Cost is $15/person.

Castellow Hammock Park Indoor Presentation & Night Hike

Date: Saturday May 31, 2014 Time: 7:30-9:30 PM Fee: $ 6.00 per person, children 3 and under free! Enjoy an indoor presentation on owls and other nocturnal creatures, then search for them on the hike. Afterwards, roast marshmallows around the campfire. Please bring a flashlight, comfortable closed toed walking shoes, and marshmallows or other foods to cook on a stick!

Exploring the Redlands Hiking Tour: Hattie Bauer Hammock Preserve and Camp Owaissa Bauer Sunday, May 18, 2014 Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 pm Fee: $ 5.00/Person Rated: Easy Explore the beautiful hammock that used to house Orchid Jungle. The trail has been restored, and although the orchids were removed, the original greenhouses and other structures are still in place. We will then go to nearby Camp Owaissa Bauer to eat lunch and hike the pineland trail. Those of you that are adventurous enough can also crawl through the limestone caves!
