St. Mary’s Shoals Park is located on the St. Mary's River giving the public nearly two miles of striking tannin-stained river frontage and its white sandy shoals. The park goers have a variety of resource based recreational opportunities on this 2568 acre site along the Florida-Georgia border.
On the east side of the park, equestrian riders, bikers and hikers have access to trails that meander through scenic forest and skirt black waters of both Cedar Creek and the St. Mary's River. While on the west side of the park, there is an extensive system of trails maintained for all-terrain vehicle usage. Both trail systems are supported with trailhead parking, restrooms and picnic facilities.
